Ascari is a homage to Alberto Ascari, the Italian racing driver famous for his style of driving. Ascari, like Nuvolari, is a dining chair which echoes the successful elements of two key armchairs in the Rubelli Casa collection: the sinuous edge of the back of the Clintòn and the “opening” in the back of Barbacàn. Ascari is the version without armrests. The curved back is an invitation to relax. To be considered from every angle and perspective in order to appreciate its elegant silhouette and the many details of high tailoring.
Working in the Rubelli design office are six designers with a solid history, design and technical background who also trained in different areas - textile design, art history, fine arts academy, art school, art college.
