Embroidered fabric. Natural for subject and for composition, Jasmine is inspired by a floral design from the early 1900s. At the time, its anonymous author had been able to capture the essential beauty of the subject. Essential beauty that is found in Jasmine, whose embroidery – a fine ramage of flowers and leaves elegant and at the same time rustic - is made with cotton thread on a linen background. The choice of a thick cotton has the purpose of highlighting the embroidery, giving it greater relief.
