Palermo

The apparently simple look of Palermo actually hides a sophisticated production process, which Rubelli used for the first time as an exclusive for Armani/Casa. In fact, the yarns of the warp are particularly thick, and are weaved with viscose chenille wefts thanks to a special technique: in this way, the chenille remains “caged” by the other yarns - so that the pile of chenille becomes invisible - but gives the fabric a very smooth and pleasant feel. The exceptional density of linen results in a very resistant fabric. Palermo is available in different plain tones, ranging from neutral classics to more colorful ones. The mélange effect of some color options is given by the dying process carried out on the single yarns, which also feature some typical “knots” due to their thickness and the mix of fibers they contain.
